Cornerstone Property Management Services has been in business since 2007. The Owner, Mike Meloche, started performance property management and merged in 2012 with Property Management MD, owned by Dan Secord and Mark Baas. When the merger was complete, Cornerstone Property Management was formed. Both Mike and Dan have been in Real Estate since 2004.
Cornerstone currently manages nearly 500 residential units. Cornerstone manages multi family and single family homes, with a majority of its portfolio being single family units. We currently manage property in the Ada and Canyon County areas.
Over the last two years, Cornerstone has averaged under 14 days for homes that are considered ‘rent ready’ status. Many of our properties are rented while repairs are being made and not officially on the market. As we received applications, we may have a property that is a better fit for a tenant which has not been marketed yet. Or, if several applications come through, we try our best to put qualified tenants into other homes that are in the pipeline.
Our aim to to turn a property within 5 days. As repairs are often times needed, repairs are usually minimal and our handyman services give Cornerstone first priority. Owner will often times want to upgrade items as needed, such as interior paint or new appliances. The turn process is a great time to make improvements to your investment. After repairs, professional cleaners service the property and then the carpets are professionally cleaned.
